DescriptionThe boots are molded of white rubber, with a coarsely textured "sole" and an "upper" textured to resemble woven fabric. They have a Louis-style heel that is molded in one piece with the boot, and a narrow oval toe. The boots are lined with white rabbit fur, which is turned over the edges of the top and the center front opening, which is laced with a plaited rayon cord.

The box is cardboard, covered in cream-colored paper, with an applied paper label in black, white, and orange on the lid, reading: "TOP NOTCH / BEACON FALLS RUBBER FOOTWEAR." The bottom of the box is stamped with the manufacturer's label and style description of the boots. (See "Marks.")
