DescriptionTwo men dressed in winter coats and hats sit in an open Columbia automobile, parked on the street crossing the Laurel Street Bridge in Hartford. The bridge crosses the Park River and is covered with snow. Utility poles and trees are in the background. Inscribed on front: "To my friend 'Willie' / Very truly yours / Eddie Bald / 1905." Caption reads: "Danny Maher, Hartford's famous jockey at the wheel and Eddie Bald 'Cannon' Bald, champ track bicycle racer."
