DescriptionMan wearing overalls and a cap unloading a bale of hay from the back of an electric delivery truck. Sign on the front of the truck reads "C.A. Pease & Co. / Hartford Conn." Sign on the side of the truck reads "Flour / Grain / Feed / & Hay." Additional bales of hay and sacks of flour or feed are on the back of the truck. A dilapidated wooden building in the background may be the Pease & Co. warehouse.
NotesConstituent Note: William J. Johnson was the auto editor at the Hartford Times and lived in East Berlin, Connecticut.

Subject Note: Charles A. Pease and William C. Pease operated a store at 462 Main Street, Hartford. Their railroad warehouse was located at 121 Canton Street.
