DescriptionTwo photographs show the steamer Hartford at the Hartford steamboat dock, with the Connecticut River in the foreground. In one photograph, crew members in uniform stand on deck. In both photographs, flags, blurred from movement, fly from the stern. The Hartford skyline is in the background, with Travelers Tower looming over the other lower buildings.
NotesDate Note: The steamer Hartfford made her last trip to New York in 1931. Photographs are evidently later reprints from original negatives.
