DescriptionFamily in front of two-story clapboard house with Victorian brackets added to roof and porch eaves and louvered shutters. (Left to right) Girl with wagon, boy in hobbyhorse rocking seat; woman in apron. Man wearing overalls with hat holding reins of two horses in working gear. Three men with cart drawn by team of oxen on dirt driveway. Men hold agricultural implements, including a rake and a shovel. A one-story addition is at right side of house and another to the back. Porch at right side of house has vines growing on trellis, a wood chair and a lattice base. A barn is in the right background. Inscription on back: "H. A. Buttons"; "Suffield St. N. Hubbards Cor; Agawam? Just along Portel (?) (writing not clear) 1 on each side. Also may be opposite Riverside."
