DescriptionMan, woman, infant, barefoot boy and dog in front of two-story three-bay clapboard house in Roxbury. Man wears overalls and holds straw hat. Picket fence with large, round top carved posts and gate in front yard has flat stones underneath it. Hatchway door to cellar is behind woman. At the far left is a barn behind a fence of horizontal sticks and boards. Two small trees on the right side of the house are probably fruit trees.
