DescriptionMen sit at school desks in a classroom. Another man, probably the teacher, stands at the front of the room. All of the men wear suits. Some hold books or human bones, including a spinal column and rib cage. Other bones, including an arm and a leg, are on a table at the front of the room beside a box. Electric light bulbs with shades hang from the ceiling on wires.
NotesSubject Note: The Hillyer Institute was the Educational Department of the Hartford YMCA. The YMCA was located at 315-323 Pearl Street, at the corner of Jewell Street.
