DescriptionWoman's petticoat of white cotton, with a smooth front and drawstring waist across back. The center back is open for 10 1/4 inches. The petticoat has a sixteen-inch-deep flounce of machine-stitched embroidery in a berry pattern. The flounce is headed by eyelet that would have been laced with ribbon. The flounce is stitched over the petticoat, creating a double layer for extra fullness. Under the flounce, the petticoat has a four-inch-wide scalloped ruffle. The petticoat has a cotton tape hanging loop on the right side of the waist.
