DescriptionMan's khaki-colored pants, with heavy cotton canvas panels stitched over the front of the legs. The fly fastens with a metal zipper; a tab extending behind the fly fastens on the proper left side with a plastic button. The waistband, which is 1 3/4 inches wide, fastens with a broad metal hook and eye. Seven belt loops are 3/4 inch wide and two inches deep. Pockets over each hip in front are slightly on the diagonal. The back hip pockets are welted; the left pocket is covered by a buttoned flap. The seat of the pants is reinforced with a stiff, rubberized fabric lining. The back of the pants gather slightly into a cuff of the canvas at the ankle. The waistband lining, fly lining, and pocket bags are made of pale gray plain-woven poly-cotton.
