DescriptionGroup of employees standing in front of two and a half story factory building with sign "J.H. Sessions & Son" over bank of windows. One and a half story buildings connected on left has tall smokestack. Men and boys stand; three siting on the ground and three look out from second story windows. Some wear suspenders and two boys are barefoot. Some wear jackets and vests, two wear aprons and most wear hats; two men carry lunchpails. Picket fence in foreground. Clock on church steeple in background says "3:20". Rooftops in background include mansard style.

Subject Note: J. H. Sessions & Son, owned by John Humphrey Sessions and his son, John Henry; c.1873-1899, manufactured trunk hardware, furniture knobs and rubber tipped doorstops. Their offices were at 88 N. Main Street.
