DescriptionMan in straw hat holds rake with two boys playing on ground. Five-bay Georgian two-story clapboard house with Greek Revival hood over front door with pilasters and transom light. One story ell to right with open square doorway probably used as woodshed. Two adjacent doors at juncture of ell and house. Large pile of wood to right. Well with roof in front of ell, appears painted. Hatchway at left front corner of house and plank fence in rear. Three-rail fence used for an enclosure on left. Small enclosures with octagonal wire fence and 4 stakes at either side of front door may protect plantings.
