DescriptionMan in hat sitting in chair with cane next to woman in dark ruffled dress. Another woman and small boy sit in horse drawn carriage. An empty Windsor side chair is on the left. Clapboard house is three-bay, two story, polychrome Victorian Italianate with center cupola flanked by two chimneys. Cupola is four sided with narrow arched windows and flat bracket roof. Front porch to entry door has slender columns, roof appears nearly flat. Gabled barn with vertical siding in right rear. Two hitching posts near rear of house on curving driveway. Plank fence in foreground with small box attached to post, possibly for mail. Large deteriorating tree stump near front door. Field in background with rail fence.
