DescriptionBearded man, probably T. Gilbert, at picket fence and gate in front of two-story Victorian house with Italianate features. Fence has large wood gateposts and winging gates at road. First floor has long windows and porches supported with Italianate columns and decorative brackets. Behind house are several outbuildings including a large barn on right and a doghouse. Outbuilding in left background has lattice screen in front of it. Large stone wall and pond on right flank dirt road approaching house. A path in foreground, banked by some type of stone wall and ending with gate to road may be a cow or sheep path.
