DescriptionA man with a plow drawn by two horses. Three other men stand by with farm implements, one clearly a hoe. One man is accompanied by two small girls and a small boy. The house is a large, two-story Greek revival house with additions at the rear. Two women stand on the back porch, which has vines growing on it. Beside the porch is a large woodpile and an apple tree. There is a fence in front of the house. Inscribed on back: "Cheshire on rd. to Meriden."
