DescriptionDrawing of buildings near Times Square, New York City. In the foreground are several retail shops and restaurants on Forty-Second Street, including Adler Shoes, Herman's, Regal Shoes, Thom McAn, Popeyes, Hardy and Tad's Broiled Steaks. In the background in the center is 1501 Broadway (the Paramount Building), topped with a clock and globe; behind it on the right is One Astor Plaza (with fins).
NotesDate Note: Adler Shoes, pictured in the lower left, was at 141 West 42nd Street until the mid-1990s. All of the retail stores and restaurants pictured were closed by 2004, when the area was razed to make way for the Bank of American building.
