DescriptionReproduction of a drawing of the Queensboro Bridge in New York City. The bridge's masonry and steel girders are depicted in detail in the foreground, with the distant towers sketched in less detail. There is a barge passing under the bridge on the left and cars on the bridge's deck and parked under it on the right.
NotesSubject Note: This image was published on page 74 of Richard Welling's book, The Technique of Drawing Buildings. It is very similar to 2012.284.42 and .23, with some minor variations--the finials on top of the bridge towers are different, this reproduction contains the automobiles under the bridge and on its deck, and was originally drawn in a sketchier line than the other two.
