DescriptionView of central Ellington. A road runs diagonally across the composition past the Congregational Church in the center. To the left a carriage sits by a tavern sign in front of a row of buildings. Another road separates from the first in the lower right hand corner and passes more dwellings. Corn in growing in front of a fence in the lower left corner.
