DescriptionA man, woman and boy stand on the roadside facing another boy. Near by a tavern sign hangs in front of a building that slightly impedes the view of the Congregational Church. The road continues past a flag pole topped with a liberty cap and past the Academy on the extreme right in the distance. Behind the flagpole the spire of the Episcopal Church is evident; to its left stands a brick building without a spire that houses the Methodist Church.
