DescriptionView of the central part of Goshen. On the right behind a picket fence is the Academy; farther down the street beyond some other buildings, the common district school stands beside the Congregational Church. A large house and its outbuildings lie beyond a crossroads. Ivy Mountain is in the background. In the foreground, a man drives a small herd of five cattle down the road.
