DescriptionInformal portraits of children, most of a small boy with blond curly hair. He appears sitting in a two-wheeled cart drawin by a goat, feeding turkeys, and in groups with other children. In one photograph he stands beside a young blond woman holding an African-American baby. In another, he is one of four children seated on a toboggan in the snow. In still another, he is seated on the porch of a shingled house with another boy and girl and a man and a woman, watching a boy in a four-wheeled wagon drawn by a goat. Folding beach chairs are on the porch in two photographs.
Object number2004.138.7-.11
NotesSubject Note: Most photographs appear to have been taken in Branford where the Atwood family had a summer home. The photograph with the toboggan may have been taken in Hartford. (Finlay 4/12/2014)
