DescriptionDistant view of Fair Haven from across the Quinnipiac River. Buildings cluster thickly along the shore. Notes identify the "Methodist Church," the "Academy" and the "Congregational Ch[urch]." The shoreline is littered with piles of "oyster shells" and "Lumber." The bridge on the right is a "Draw" bridge. Details of East Haven, (at the left end of the drawbridge) appear above the main drawing.
