DescriptionView of the village of South Britain in Southbury nestled amongst high hills. This sketch is made from a high elevation looking across two lines of "Virginia fence." Trees labeled "Apple" are drawn in the bottom left corner and a "Trap Rock ledge" can be found on a mountain side to the right. The steeple central to the sketch belongs either to the Congregational or Methodist Church.
