DescriptionA road leads down a hill in the foreground towards the village of Worthington in the middle distance. An apple tree is labeled at the far right. Extensive fields occupy the area between the village and the road. Of the numerous buildings in the village, only the "Universalist Ch[urch" and the "Academy" are labeled. The prominent mountain in the background is labeled "Mount Lamentation." A second sketch of Lamentation Mountain and a detail of some of the buildings appear above the main drawing
