DescriptionIndustrial buildings, apparently on the brink of a large waterfall. A mountain looms in the background. Inscribed "Canaan?" It probably is a view of the Salisbury Iron Manufacturing Co., at the Great Falls of the Housatonic River. This area was called Canaan Falls until 1840 when the railroad station was named Falls Village and that name was adopted by the community
