DescriptionThree large churches line the right side of a road. A row of smaller buildings is on the left. The churches are labeled "1[st Congregational Church" "Episcopal Ch[urch" "2 d Congregation[al Church." An additional note reads "Methodist Church about 30 or 40 rods north" but this church is not visible. The location of "Golden Hill" is indicated in the background. According to Barber's text, the church labeled as the Episcopal Church had been converted to a Baptist Church by 1836 and a new Episcopal Church had been erected nearby
