DescriptionView from the 8th floor of the Travelers Tower looking north east at the Connecticut River and East Hartford during flood of 1936. Only a small part of the arches on the Bulkeley Bridge is visible. Train tracks and roads running parallel to the river on the Hartford side (near side) are covered by flood waters. Views of the water coming into Hartford streets.
