DescriptionDrawing of the construction of State House Square in downtown Hartford, Connecticut. Tower 1, on the left next to First National Bank, is in a more finished state than Tower 2, pictured on the right, partly covered in plastic sheeting. Two cranes are depicted, one of which is carrying construction materials in front of Tower 1. There are other construction machines and materials, as well as trucks, on the ground. The Old State House is on the left and behind it is the outline of the Hartford-Aetna Bank Building. On the right is the Connecticut Bank & Trust Company Building (part of Constitution Square). Several pedestrians are pictured around the Old State House and on the sidewalks.
