DescriptionAn olive green wool uniform consisting of a jacket and trousers. The jacket is fitted, upper thigh length with a high collar, four patch pockets with button down flaps, and bronze American eagle seal buttons fastening these buttons and the front of the coat. There are button down braid straps at the shoulders and olive colored silk bands at the cuffs. On the left sleeve is a red felt stripe and an olive colored one. There are bronze "U.S." and medical symbol (snake, staff) pins on each side of the collar. Lined with what appears to be silk.
The jodhpurs are cut full at the hip and thigh and taper to a close fit from the knee to ankle. This tapered area has plastic buttons along the out seam. The jodhpurs have a button fly, belt loops, and five pockets. They are reinforced at the knees and unlined.
