DescriptionPortraits of Connecticut Governor John Trumbull and his wife, Maud Pierce Usher. Two are formal studio portraits, the other a more informal portrait taken as the couple were leaving the Congregational Church in Plainville, Connecticut following the wedding of their daughter Florence to John Coolidge. Mrs. Trumbull is wearing a large floral corsage, high heeled shoes, long gloves, and a long string of beads over a short dress.
