DescriptionWhite satin slippers, with a narrow square toe, square throatling, and short stacked heel. The satin is lined with plain-woven linen; the sock lining is plain-woven cotton. The upper is bound with narrow, white silk tape. The slippers are straight, but the wear pattern indicates that ".a" was worn on the right foot and ".b" was worn on the left foot.
