DescriptionFormal and informal portraits, mostly of members of the Cheney family of Manchester, Connecticut. Subjects include men, women, boys, girls, and infants. In one group portrait, possibly depicting a crew team, men wear Yale sweatshirts. In two photographs, women wear what appear to be wedding gowns. In one photograph, a woman sits in a wicker chair, holiding a young child on her lap.
NotesSubject Note: Most sitters are unidentified but are probably all members of the Cheney family, their spouses, friends, or relations. One photograph was taken in Chicago; another was taken in France. (Finlay 3/1/2014)Status
