NotesHistorical Note: The golf tournament known as the Insurance City Open, later became the Greater Hartford Open (nicknamed the GHO for many years). It would have many different sponsers over the years, including Sammy Davis, Jr. and corporate sponsers such as Canon, Buick, and the Travelers Insurance Company. Currently (2014), it is known as the Travelers Championship, and is played at the TPC River Highlands course in Cromwell, Connecticut. (Lee 2/28/2014)Status
