Standing in the back row are Thomas Langdon Cheney (1879-1916) and Ednah Parker Cheney (born 1873). Seated in the middle row are, left to right: Philip Cheney (1878-1948), Frank Woodbridge Cheney (1832-1909), Ednah Dow Smith (1841-1915), Knight Dexter Cheney (1837-1907), probably one of K. D.'s daughters, and probably one of F. W.'s sons. Seated on the ground are: Clifford Dudley Cheney (1877-1948), Theodora Cheney (1874-1951) and probably another of F.W.'s sons.

NotesDate note: Estimate based on life dates and approximate age of subjects in photograph (Peters). Frank Woodbridge Cheney and Mary Bushnell Cheney had twelve children. Knight Dexter Cheney and Ednah Dow Smith had eleven. Frank and Knight Dexter were brothers and lived very near each other in South Manchester, Connecticut.
