DescriptionDrawing of the Underwood Typewriter Company's factory on Capitol Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. The industrial building is viewed from the left side, with two of its chimneys visible. The Underwood name appears on the chimneys, the top facade of the building, and between the first and second floor windows. Electric lights extend above the sign at the top of the building. A low fence and two lamp posts are in front of the building. There are pedestrians on the sidewalk and automobiles on the street. There is a tower at the end of the building on the right. A highway overpass is visible in the right background.
