DescriptionTin molasses cup, painted green. Stenciled in gold and orange "MOLASSES CUP" in gold beneath spout. There is a gold single line border at the top and bottom of cup. There is brushstroke decoration on the top. Spiral ornament on the top of the tin.
Label TextConnecticut tinware manufacturing peaked in the 19th century. This molasses cup is attributed to the Meriden firm of Goodrich, Ives & Company.
