DescriptionWoman's overshoe, made of dark rubber and lined in the heel area with leather and in the forepart with a napped fabric (probably cotton with wool). The vamp is slit and turned back. The throatline and slit are bound with black silk tape. The overshoe has a rounded toe. The sock lining is a layer of leather overlaid with plain-woven white cotton. There is no separate sole.
