DescriptionGroup of four dogs in an interior. A long-haired fluffy dog sits on a cushion in the center, surrounded by two smaller dogs, a King Charles spaniel and a whippet or greyhound. The latter dog wears a collar with a tassel and a coat trimmed with embroidery or appliqué. A large dog lies in at the right. Flowers, apparently roses, are in a large bowl with Chinese figures in the left background. Drapery is in the right background. There is a moire patterned rug is on the floor.

NotesOwner Note: Print 1989.34.1 was given to a student by his teacher, M. Spencer. Print 1989.34.4 was given to a student by her teacher, Mary Spencer. Both prints date to 1857-1867.
