DescriptionGroup photographs include formal group portraits of baseball, basketball, and football team photographs with the players in uniform holding balls and equipment. Teams include the Ben-Hurs and the Tigers. Another photograph shows the Tiger Athletic Club's annual banquet at the Hotel Garde, Hartford. Another shows young men in naval uniform at the Recruit Training Center in Bainbridge, Maryland. A final photograph appears to show a confirmation class: girls in white dresses hold bouquest and boys with carnations in their buttonholes surround an elderly man, apparently a minister, wearing a clerical collar. The same painted studio backdrop appears in two different photographs.
