DescriptionAmerican flag consisting of 26 stars and 15 red and white stripes. The flag is a single piece of white silk with the canton dyed blue, and with 7 of the 15 stripes dyed red. The flag contains 15 alternating red and white horizontal stripes, with a white stripe on the top and bottom of the flag, and with the canton resting on a red stripe. The canton contains 26 five pointed white stars, arranged in four horizontal rows of six with two stars on the hoist end of the canton. The two stars on the hoist end of the canton are centered between the top two rows and between the bottom two rows. The header on the hoist end of the flag contains 3 whip-stitched eyelets for flying the flag.
