DescriptionA three-story building with a one-story addition at the left is located on the street corner. The building has shutters, and a second-story balcony; a dancing figure of a nude woman appears above the corner entrance. A woman and child are on the sidewalk nearby. A fire hydrant is on the corner. Other buildings are visible at left and right; a modern skyscraper rises in the background.
NotesSubject Note: 1 Lewis Street is a simple three-story office building, erected as a residence sometime prior to 1850. During the late twentieth century and later it served as law offices. The law offices of James Kinsella, who served as mayor of Hartford from 1957 to 1960, were located in the building.
