DescriptionPolaroid photographs of downtown Hartford, Connecticut buildings, including Temple Beth Israel (now the Charter Oak Cultural Center), the Marble Pillar restaurant, the back of what was probably the Best Western Motor Hotel, the storefront of Huntington's Book Store, G. Fox & Co.facade with Christmas decorations, One Corporate Center, Christ Church Cathedral and surrounding buildings, Connecticut National Bank and One Financial Plaza with Pratt Street buildings visible in the foreground, the construction of 280 Trumbull, the Statler Hilton, and the Hartford Steam Company Heating and Cooling Plant with Travelers Tower and the Connecticut Natural Gas building in the background. The perspectives from which the photographs were taken vary, with some street-level, straightforward views and some from an elevated viewpoint.
