DescriptionInterior view of the library at the Frank Woodbridge Cheney house, located on Hartford Road in South Manchester, Connecticut. The room is carpeted, and there are large rugs on the floor to the left and right. Boughs of greenery are placed around the edge of the ceiling and a globe chandelier hangs in the middle. The far wall of the room is covered by bookshelves on the bottom half and large, framed paintings on the top. There is a tall, almost floor-to-ceiling window in the middle of the wall, between bookshelves. There is a small table to the left of it, in the corner, which has a lamp on it. There are one or two chairs near the table and an armchair in front of the window. To the right, in front of a bookshelf, there is a man sitting in another chair reading a book that is in his lap. He appears to have a pipe in his mouth. There are one or two chairs in the foreground, sitting against the wall to the left.
NotesAccording to cataloging worksheet in object file, the Frank Woodbridge Cheney house was knocked down in the 1930s.
