DescriptionFour boys sit on a dock that is at the bottom of a large boulder. Assorted poles and a fishing net rest against the rock, in the foreground. There is a canoe sitting on the dock, upright. There are two fishing baskets on the dock, and a few other items scattered around. One boy holds a short rod that has a large hook on one end of it. On the other side of the water there is a thick grove of evergreen trees. Mountains are visible in the distance. Stephen Pierson Cheney is the boy sitting nearest the camera, with a cloth on his head. The boy to the far left, wearing a hat, is probably Horace Bushnell Learned. The other two boys are unidentified. They are all at Inlet Camp, on Upper Ausable Lake in Keene Valley, New York.
