DescriptionTwo women followed by a boy walk along a vaulted passageway, probably in the porch or interior of a church. The women wear veils and dresses trimmed with lace and ribbons. The boy wears a short tunic and hose. The woman on the right and the boy both hold small books, probably prayer books. The other woman drops a coin into the hat of an old man who kneels at the left. He has a beard and mustache and wears a long overcoat. He holds a staff or walking stick as well as the hat. Stone arches are in the background. Stone steps lead down in the left foreground.
