DescriptionSpectators watch men marching in formation in a parade. The marching men may be firemen. They wear uniforms and what appear to be fire helmets. Flags, including an American flag, fly overhead. Part of a wooden grandstand is visible in the foreground. The Connecticut River is in the background.
NotesSubject Note: The Bulkeley Bridge opened to trolley traffic on 8 December 1907 and to the general public on 21 December 1907. The dedication of the bridge was the occasion of a three-day celebration on 6, 7, and 8 October 1908. (Finlay 1/31/2014)
