DescriptionFloral wreath embroidered in wool raised work on a black wool background. The wreath includes red chrysanthemums and grapes, red and white berries, and unidentifiable blue, white, pink, and yellow flowers. The greenery is worked mostly in a fern-like pattern. The berries are made like pompoms. The flower petals appear to be stitched over batting to create the raised effect; stitches of white thread are visible, holding them in place. The wreath is framed in a modern shadow box frame.
