DescriptionStudio portraits of Edward E. Salisbury and his wife; a folder from the photographer Phelps, New Haven; images of the Salisbury's house, 237 Church Street, New Haven, including an exterior view and an interior view of the back parlor; a reproduction of an oil painting of old man with crucifix, identified as a work by El Greco which E. MacCurdy gave to the Yale School of Fine Arts; a view of the Congregational church in Old Lyme; a cabinet card of an actress in the role of Maria Stewart, inscribed to "Mrs. Salisbury 1896".
NotesMaker Note: Some photographs may be the work of George Grant McCurdy. At least one of the portrait photographs is probably the work of Phelps, New Haven, since a folder from that photographer is present. (Finlay 3/27/2002)
