DescriptionSeveral women and one man are dressed in colonial costume. The women wear aprons and caps; several hold long staffs or walking sticks. The man is wearing a doublet and holds a musket. They are standing on sand, possibly on the bank of the Connecticut River. Large trees are in the background.
NotesSubject Note: The Bulkeley Bridge celebration included a re-enactment of Thomas Hooker and his party arriving in Hartford. These men and women appear to be part of that re-enactment. (Finlay 4/12/2014)
