DescriptionView from a terrace with a stone balustrade overlooking a grassy lawn surrounded by a path. Flowers, including roses, are in a circular flower bed in the center of the yard and in two curved parterres adjoining the path. The flowering shrub at the left appears to be a lilac. A greenhouse and a brick building are in the background, partially concealed by large trees. Utility wires cross the upper part of the image.
NotesTechnique Note: The autochrome process was introduced to the United States in 1907.
