DescriptionHand puppet of Peter Rabbit with a papier-mâché head painted (probably using watercolor) brown with white markings around the pink ears, black/brown eyes, and pink nose. Attached whiskers are made of white cotton pipe-cleaners. The body is made of white rabbit fur over which is placed a light blue cotton jacket with three buttons down the left side and pants with gray leather shoes. This puppet was probably used in play, "The Tale of Peter Rabbit."
